ABOUT
Everyone deserves guidance to achieve their health goals in a personalized, inclusive way. By focusing on the small, everyday changes one can make to accomplish their goals, let's find what works for your schedule and lifestyle in a simple & sustainable way.
My Philosophy
We live in a society that often encloses us within a box filled with mixed messages, unrealistic goals and fake news. Sadly this can often lead to unhealthy habits, a low quality of life and long term health consequences.
As a qualified Registered Dietitian, I am here to help guide you in the right direction so you can focus on making more sustainable, realistic, and long-term changes. By making better nutrition choices without overcomplicating your life, you'll see just how attainable a healthy life is.
Here's how we'll work through it together:
-
Live Life Simply
You deserve nutrition that's simple and sustainable, not complicated through extreme diets and pricey products to accomplish your health goals and live happier. You can still enjoy your favorite foods and carry on with your day to day life because small, simple shifts can still make a big impact on your health.
-
Open Up and Thrive
There's no need to judge or restrict yourself when it comes to health. Remove the rigid rules around diet and nutrition and recognize health can come in many forms. Life isn't all or nothing, find room to be flexible and create your own version of health that works best for you.
-
Respect Who You Are
As humans, we are all different with unique needs that deserve to be respected regardless of race, culture, or sexual orientation. Don't let guilt or perfection hold you back or compare your needs to someone else's. Be kind and compassionate with yourself to embrace all of you!
My Story
As a teen, I struggled with poor eating habits. My diet consisted of processed breakfast cereals, sugar loaded coffee drinks and fast food. I lacked the confidence to follow my intuition and as a result my weight would constantly go up and down. The consequences of a poor diet resulted in low energy levels and also showed up on my skin as I battled cystic acne for several years.
Ultimately, I knew I had to evaluate my food choices and change my eating habits to improve my health. This motivated me to purse a degree in the nutrition field and become a Registered Dietitian. It was during this time that I realized how much joy it brought me when I helped others through their struggles with food and nutrition, regardless of what their story may be.
It would be a privilege to be your guide as we navigate through your journey towards better health and nutrition. With small, simple shifts, you can make a big impact on your health!
